Friday, March 7th, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes Adam Roberts! Featured artists include Adam Roberts– Tenor Saxophone, and other artists– TBA.
Adam Roberts is a versatile tenor saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and educator based in Arizona. Known for his work across jazz, rock, funk, classical, and pop, Adam performs with groups like Running From Bears, Mr. Trio, and the Adam Roberts Quartet. He has shared the stage with icons like Michael Bublé, Idina Menzel, and jazz legends such as Joe Lovano and George Russell.
As Instrumental Music Lead at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Adam directs bands and organizes campus instrumental activities. A dedicated educator, he also offers master classes and workshops, including at The Nash Summer Workshop series. Adam holds three music degrees, including a Master’s from the New England Conservatory, and has studied with renowned musicians like Jerry Bergonzi and George Garzone.
An accomplished composer and arranger, Adam writes original works and jazz arrangements, with contributions to Jerry Bergonzi’s Inside Improvisation series.
