Friday, March 7th, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes Twin Tenors! Featured artists include Adam Roberts– Tenor Saxophone, Dave Schmidt– Tenor Saxophone, Dave Henning– Piano, Ben Hedquist– Bass, and Ryan Anthony– Drums.

Adam Roberts and Dave Schmidt present Twin Tenors, a celebration of the tradition of tenor sax duets and battles. Adam and Dave have played together for more than 25 years, and draw repertoire from the great duos of every era, from Rollins and Stitt, Lockjaw and Griffin, Simms and Cohn, to Brecker and Mintzer, Garzone and Lovano, Cheek and Blake. Twin Tenors is supported by the powerhouse rhythm section of Dave Henning, Ben Hedquist, and Ryan Anthony.

This evening is particularly special, as they will be releasing their very first record, recorded in house at Ravenscroft. Come and be a part of cementing jazz history!
