Jazzbird Nights: Benjamin Ring Quintet

Experience an exciting evening of jazz led by drummer and composer Benjamin Ring. The performance will feature music from Benjamin’s recent album With Every Step, as well as brand-new original compositions, showcasing the group’s dynamic energy and creative interplay.

Benjamin Ring is an accomplished drummer and composer, known for his innovative approach to rhythm and his ability to blend intricate improvisation with powerful compositions. A graduate of the prestigious Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz at UCLA, Benjamin has performed at major venues and festivals across the country, making a name for himself as one of the most promising young voices in contemporary jazz.

The ensemble features a stellar lineup: saxophonist Devin Daniels, vibraphonist Jake Chapman, pianist Adam Hersh, and bassist Logan Kane. Each member is a highly regarded musician in their own right, with experience performing alongside some of the top names in jazz. Together, they bring a fresh, modern and thoughtful take on the genre.
