Friday, April 28th, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes BossaNova 77. Featured artists include Al Alabado–Vocals/Percussion, Ike Ramalho-Guitar, Chuck Leitner-Piano, Adrial Goldenthal-Bass, Emerson Laffey– Drums.
BossaNova 77 has been performing Brazilian Bossa Nova Jazz music and standards since 1977 in the Phoenix area. With Al Alabado on vocals & percussion (english & original Portuguese) and Art Grijalva on acoustic guitar, BossaNova 77 performs the classic sounds out of Brazil from performers like Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Gilberto, Ivan Lins and Sergio Mendes as well as American Jazz Standards we know and love in a classic Bossa Nova/Samba style.
Enjoy some great jazz and choose from a fine selection of wine, craft beers, and catered dinner options for purchase. Doors open at 6:00 pm; $10 cover charge at the door, reservations are not required.
