Friday, October 18th, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes the Emiliano Lasansky Quartet! Featured artists include Emiliano Lasansky– Bass, Javier Santiago– Piano, Devin Daniels– Alto Saxophone, and Benjamin Ring– Drums.

Prepare to be captivated by the innovative sounds of Emiliano Lasansky, a dynamic jazz bassist and composer from Los Angeles, CA. Lasansky’s music masterfully fuses traditional jazz elements with modern influences, creating an exhilarating and unexpected auditory experience. He is set to perform pieces from his highly anticipated 2024 record, “The Optimist.” Joining him are stellar musicians: Devin Daniels on alto saxophone, fresh off a tour with Herbie Hancock and known for his fiery and soulful energy; Benjamin Ring, a Los Angeles-based drummer and composer whose intricate rhythms and dynamic style provide the perfect heartbeat for the ensemble; and Javier Santiago on piano, an extraordinary keyboardist and composer celebrated for his virtuosic technique and inventive compositions.
