VJC ALUMNI BAND+: CHRISTMAS CONCERT
WHAT TO EXPECT
Join us once more for a magical Christmas Concert as alums of the Valley Jazz Cooperative program share the stage with a few leading artists on the local jazz scene. It’s the triumphant return of the VJC Alumni Band+, which debuted last December to a sold-out house in Ravenscroft Hall!
Led by program director Russell Schmidt, the VJC Alumni Band+ will perform big band charts on various holiday classics, including a few arrangement debuts. There will also be a couple of combo selections, a vocal feature or two, and the return of last year’s popular audience participation moment, with a singalong in the round in celebration of the season.
RAVENSCROFT HALL EVENT INFORMATION
Lobby doors open at 6:00 pm and Ravenscroft Hall doors open at 6:30 pm. Choose from a fine selection of wine and craft beers before the show. Light refreshments will also be available for purchase at the bar. No food or drink will be permitted inside Ravenscroft Hall. Please note that parking is free and abundant on-site at Ravenscroft.
