Todd Johnson, known as a pioneer of the six-string electric bass, brings the acoustic upright into the spotlight for this concert and musical tribute to bassist and jazz legend Ray Brown on Sunday, February 27, at the Jazzbird, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Joining Todd are Nick Manson-piano, Dom Moio-drums, and Jeff Libman-guitar. You won’t want to miss it. Doors open at 5:30 pm and no reservations are required.

Jazz for the Soul is a widely-regarded concert series with loyal fans returning again and again. The season runs from September to June and take place on the 4th Sunday of each month at Jazzbird. Since 2008, the Jazz for the Soul concert series has been bringing talented jazz musicians, avid listeners, and noteworthy causes together. All concerts are free to the public and all donations received will benefit local and international humanitarian causes.
