Please join us for the first public performance by the Valley Jazz Cooperative program in two years!

Tuesday, March 8, at 7:00 pm, Ravenscroft Hall presents the students of the Valley Jazz Cooperative, under the direction of Russell Schmidt. The VJC Indigo Ensemble will perform music by Red Garland, Freddie Hubbard, and Jerome Richardson. The VJC Sapphire Ensemble will play compositions by Wynton Marsalis, Oliver Nelson, and Sonny Rollins.

The Valley Jazz Cooperative was founded in 2016 and is an educational outreach of MSW Ministries. Instruction is focused on expanding the creativity of VJC participants and is offered free of charge to eligible, committed, passionate music students (grades 8-12).

Lobby doors open at 6:00 pm; Ravenscroft Hall doors do not open until 6:45 pm. This performance is free and no reservations are required.
