Friday, June 28th, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes Tjader Project for the very LAST Jazzbird Nights Performance of our 2023-24 season! Featured artists include Joe Garcia– Percussion, Brett Reed– Vibraphone, Scott Zimmer– Saxophone/Flute, Ted Sistrunk– Bass, and John Lewis– Drums.
Join us to witness Tjader Project– a tribute to the late great Cal Tjader, vibraphonist, band leader and composer, who revolutionized Latin Jazz! Compositions played will reflect the music of Cal Tjader spanning decades, with a driving rhythm section supported by memorable melodies. The audience will be transported back in time to an era when Latin Jazz was thriving as we groove and celebrate the final Jazzbird performance of Ravenscroft’s wonderful 3rd season!
Experience an evening filled with wonderful jazz and choose from a fine selection of wine, craft beers, and catered dinner options for purchase.
