Camille Thurman is a celebrated saxophonist, vocalist, and composer who is making waves in the jazz world with her unique blend of tradition and innovation. A NAACP Image Award nominee and Downbeat Critics Poll honoree, she has headlined major venues like the Kennedy Center and toured internationally with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Her latest project, Confluence: Vol 1, highlights her exceptional musicianship. Beyond performing, Camille is dedicated to mentoring young women in music and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Jazz Performance at McGill University.
