ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kelly Green is an award-winning pianist, vocalist, and composer known for her exceptional musicianship and captivating presence. Equally commanding at the piano and behind the microphone, she has developed a distinctive sound that blends emotionally rich original compositions with imaginative interpretations of the jazz canon.

Her wide-ranging repertoire includes reimagined works by Mulgrew Miller and Duke Ellington, selections from the Blossom Dearie songbook, and her own genre-defying compositions. Her recordings have earned widespread critical acclaim, with Corner of My Dreams named “one of the best jazz vocal albums of the year by Marc Myers of Jazzwax. Grammy-winning bassist Christian McBride has called Green “one of the most talented and spirited people I know,” while All About Jazz praises her as “an artist and performer in toto.”

Green has shared the stage with renowned musicians including Wycliffe Gordon, George Coleman, and Billy Hart and has performed to sold-out audiences at celebrated venues and festivals including The Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Club, Birdland Theater, Ronnie Scott’s, DC Jazz Festival, and EFG London Jazz Festival.

With five critically-acclaimed albums already to her name, Green continues to evolve as a composer and performer. Her sixth album, Eat Your Greens, was released in August 2026 and has earned rave reviews, top Jazz playlist placements, and world-wide radio play including NPR’s Jazz Night in America.
