The 2022/23 Chamber @ Ravenscroft series continues with Elevate, a program featuring a diverse mix of selections by contemporary composers (Schubring, Hancock) and masters from the Western European art music canon (Fauré, Brahms). The performance, rescheduled from its original May 2022 date, showcases world-class chamber musicians from across the United States.
About the artists…Carolyn Huebl is Professor of Violin at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music and is a founding member of The Blakemore Trio. Katie McLin is Concertmaster of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra (Columbus, OH) and a Professor of Violin in Arizona State University’s School of Music, Dance and Theatre. Nancy Buck is Co-Artistic Director of the Chamber @ Ravenscroft series and also serves on the ASU faculty as a Professor of Viola. Cellist David Bjella is a Professor at the University of Central Florida and served as Co-Principal Cello of the IRIS Orchestra (Memphis, TN) for 18 years. Andrew Campbell is currently the Director of the Collaborative Piano Program at ASU and leads summer instruction in collaborative piano at Rocky Ridge Music Festival (Estes Park, CO).
