The Reflection Tour offers a rare opportunity to hear Hahn revisit and reimagine standout original compositions from all seven of his albums. ABOUT THE ARTIST
Alex Hahn is a Grammy Award-winning saxophonist, composer, and educator whose artistry has made him one of the most exciting voices in contemporary jazz. Based in Los Angeles, Hahn has performed and recorded with legends such as Herbie Hancock, Esperanza Spalding, Bob Mintzer, Peter Erskine, and John Daversa’s Grammy-winning Big Band. He has also appeared on Michael Bublé’s last three Grammy-nominated albums and contributed to film and television projects including Coming 2 America, Bad Trip, and the Emmy-winning show Glee.
An accomplished solo artist, Hahn has released seven albums as a bandleader, including Traveling, New Flight, Second Wind, and Colors, which showcase his signature blend of strong melodies, groove-driven arrangements, and bold improvisation. His musical influences span jazz, pop, funk, and cinematic soundscapes, and his compositions often feature collaborations with top-tier vocalists and instrumentalists.
Hahn is also a passionate and globally respected educator. He currently serves as Director of Jazz at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and teaches students worldwide through clinics, masterclasses, and his popular instructional publications. With accolades from DownBeat Magazine, the Michael Brecker International Saxophone Competition, and the North American Saxophone Alliance, Alex Hahn continues to shape the future of jazz while honoring its rich traditions.
