Jazzbird Nights: Margherita Fava Trio

Margherita Fava’s musical odyssey spans continents and genres. Hailing from Follina, Italy, she relocated to the USA in 2016, embarking on an incredible journey in jazz. With a B.A in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University and an M.M in Jazz and Studio Music from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Margherita is not just a musician; she’s an educator, arranger, composer, and collaborator with the likes of Gregory Tardy, Rodney Whitaker, and many more.

In March 2023, she released her debut album, “TATATU,” featuring Greg Tardy and produced by Rodney Whitaker. It was released on all streaming platforms and garnered a shining 4-star review from Downbeat Magazine.
