Friday, May 30th, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes the Raúl Yáñez Jazz Quintet! Featured artists include Raul Yáñez– Piano, Adam Clark– Drums, Theodore Sistrunk– Bass, Jerry Donato– Saxophone, and Greg Varlotta– Trumpet/Trombone.

Experience an unforgettable night of jazz with the Raúl Yáñez Jazz Quintet at Ravenscroft! A masterful pianist, composer, and educator, Yáñez brings a wealth of musical expertise to the stage, blending traditional jazz with bold, contemporary influences. As a faculty member at ASU’s School of Music, Dance & Theatre, he has mentored countless musicians while also performing and recording with jazz legends like Joey DeFrancesco and Jimmy Smith. Renowned for composing the first-ever Concerto for Turntable and touring with icons such as Sister Sledge, El Chicano, and Esteban, Yáñez delivers a performance filled with innovation, energy, and world-class musicianship.
