JAZZBIRD NIGHTS: TrioGram with special guest Lewis Nash

Friday, February 24th, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes TrioGram featuring artists Will Lyle – Bass, Bijan Taghavi – Piano, and Lewis Nash – Drums.

TrioGram is a project fronted by bassist and composer Will Lyle. The group aims to maintain a cutting edge sensibility combined with a respect for the many eras of jazz. They are equally influenced by the swinging piano trios of the bebop period, impressionistic styles, classical music, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and hip hop. As sidemen, the members have worked with such jazz legends as Dave Kikoski, Rodney Whitaker, Carl Allen, Ralph Peterson, Dick Oatts, Benny Bennack, Ralph Moore, Bill Cunliffe, Roy McCurdy, and more.

This is a special show featuring the great drummer and former Tommy Flanagan trio member Lewis Nash on drums.

Enjoy some great jazz and choose from a fine selection of wine, craft beers, and catered dinner options for purchase. Doors open at 6:00 pm; $10 cover charge at the door, reservations are not required.
