JAZZBIRD NIGHTS: ZAZU West

Friday, March 31st, at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes ZAZU West. Featured artists include Mike Fowler–Lead Guitar, Ryan Vance-Rhythm Guitar, Constance Genter-Vocals, Vincent Thiefain-Bass, Jeff Quamo-Clarinet, Allen Ames-Violin.

ZAZU West is Phoenix’s premier ensemble dedicated to Gypsy Jazz, the style devoted to the legacy of guitar legend Django Reinhardt. Whether playing the dozens of iconic Django compositions, traditional and contemporary jazz standards in the Gypsy Jazz style, or the music of today’s Gypsy Jazz greats in Europe and the U.S., ZAZU West creates a unique performance experience full of irresistible swing, melancholy dark and moody highlights, and improvisation with reckless abandon.

Enjoy some great jazz and choose from a fine selection of wine, craft beers, and catered dinner options for purchase. Doors open at 6:00 pm; $10 cover charge at the door, reservations are not required.
