Award-winning jazz pianist Tamir Hendelman's musical travels have taken him from Alaska to New York, Thailand to Israel - and now to the beautiful new Ravenscroft for this special evening of sublime piano jazz with his trio.

Hendelman performed for years with a lengthy list of greats, including Barbara Streisand, Diana Krall, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole and the Jeff Hamilton Trio, before forming his own trio, in which he explores standards, Brazilian music, blues and his Israeli roots.

Beginning his keyboard studies at age 6 in Tel Aviv, Hendelman moved to the U.S. at age 12 and won Yamaha's national keyboard competition two years later. Concerts in Japan and the Kennedy Center followed. He then became the youngest musical director for Lovewell Institute, a national arts education non-profit organization. He remains in steady demand internationally as pianist and arranger.

Enjoy Hendelman's rhythmical, lyrical music, as he melds jazz, world and classical influences into an exciting evening of heartfelt creativity.
