ABOUT THE ARTIST
Christie Dashiell is a two-time GRAMMY-nominated and NAACP Image Award–winning vocalist, composer, and educator celebrated for her distinctive blend of jazz, R&B, gospel, and soul. A graduate of Howard University and the Manhattan School of Music, she has performed with artists and ensembles including Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and Marquis Hill.
Her acclaimed album Journey in Black earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album, showcasing Dashiell’s extraordinary voice and deeply personal approach to composition and storytelling.
