ABOUT THE ARTIST
Francine Reed is a celebrated blues and jazz vocalist whose powerful voice and commanding stage presence have made her a beloved figure in American music and a longtime favorite of Phoenix audiences. She rose to national prominence through her decades-long collaboration with Lyle Lovett and His Large Band and has performed and recorded alongside artists including Willie Nelson, Miles Davis, Etta James, Smokey Robinson, and Delbert McClinton.
Known especially for her signature rendition of “Wild Women Don’t Get the Blues,” Reed brings together blues, jazz, gospel, and R&B with unmistakable warmth, humor, and soul.
