Friday, September 29th at 7:00pm, Jazzbird welcomes the Jack Radavich Quintet. Featured artists include Jack Radavich–Bass, Jerry Donato–Tenor Saxophone, Dave Henning–Keys, John Lewis–Drums, and Neal Seroka–Guitar.

Hailing from Chicago and now based in Phoenix, Jack Radavich has been an influential figure in the jazz scene for decades. With an impressive resume that includes collaborations with jazz legends like Barney Kessel, Joe Pass, and Milt Jackson, Radavich brings a wealth of experience and talent to his performances.

In this upcoming Jazzbird performance, the Jack Radavich Quintet will pay homage to the renowned tenor saxophonist Stanley Turrentine. Known for his soulful playing and captivating improvisations, Turrentine’s music will be skillfully brought to life by the ensemble. Expect an evening filled with mesmerizing melodies and infectious rhythms as the quintet performs selections from Turrentine’s extensive repertoire.
