ABOUT THE ARTIST

Michael Ragonese’s distinctive sound blends jazz tradition with classical influences and his Italian heritage. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, he has performed, toured, and recorded with artists including Barbra Streisand, Walter Smith III, Mark Turner, Dave Koz, Bennie Maupin, and Engelbert Humperdinck.

Known for his thoughtful compositions and expressive playing, Ragonese has earned international acclaim through his albums Day to Day, Stracci, and Chasing Calm.
